Welcome to the website of the Motor City Rockets Oldsmobile Club. We are the first Chartered Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America, founded on June 18, 1977. As a member of the Motor City Rockets you will meet people who share the same interest in all models of Oldsmobiles and the automotive industry as a whole. The Motor City Rockets enjoy monthly activities year-round. Our activities may include driving our Oldsmobiles to special events while others are purely fun and social gatherings.  Sunday, September 28, 2024 - Rain or Shine!! If you have not had the chance to attend this event it is terrific! Oldsmobiles show up from all over the state. It’s a great day for Oldsmobile owners to show off for sure. The posted time for Bakers is 10AM – 5PM but we all know you will get there earlier Of course, the location is at Bakers of Milford. 2025 SOUTH MILFORD RD. MILFORD, MICHIGAN 48381 (3 MILES NORTH OF I-96 EXIT 155B) NO RSVP NEEDED, this event is hosted by the Motor City Rockets and is open to all Oldsmobile owners! We want to see all of your friends and their Oldsmobile and who knows, maybe they will want to be a ROCKET like you!!! PARKING ON THE GRASSY AREA EAST OF THE MAIN PARKING LOT IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THE SUNDAY CRUISE-IN, BAKERS HAS A GREAT RESTAURANT, LOTS OF GREAT CARS COME TO THE SHOW, AND NEXT DOOR IS A PUTT-PUTT GOLF FACILITY & A PARTY STORE WITH GREAT FOOD. |

On Friday, September 20th, 2024, nine members of the Motor City Rockets, part of the Oldsmobile Club of America, volunteered to drive their convertibles (not all Oldsmobiles😉) in the Howell Homecoming Parade. Five of the Motor City Rockets Women, aka the wives, cheered and took pics from the sidelines. It was a great night with great friends and the football team won 48-17. |
